About the Owner
My name is Karen, I am the proud owner/ founder of ARIANAARA. I am 23 years old and a mother of now 2 kids. I was born in Monterrey, Mexico and raised in Houston, Tx. I worked as a certified pharmacy technician until the Covid-19 Pandemic along with sky-high daycare costs forced me to be a stay-at-home mom, and thus placing my dreams/ career on pause. I envisioned a job that would allow me to raise my children and bring me income. Thus, on June 10th, 2020, ARIANAARA was born.
I started ARIANAARA as an Etsy Handmade store where I sold custom made items. Etsy did pretty well for me, enough to save to purchase my first batch of inventory. I then closed down the crafts store and converted ARIANAARA into a clothing boutique. I was set to open and launch in 2021 until I was hit with some unexpected but happy news. I was pregnant with my now second child. Unfortunately, I had a rough pregnancy suffering with Hyperemesis Gravidarum. Since I was also attending college fulltime, and a mother to a toddler, I had to pause all production with the boutique.
But now reaching ARIANAARAS 2-year anniversary, I am in a much better place, healthier, mentally and physically. I am ready for the challenges that this small business may entail. Thank you to all who have supported me and followed along since the beginning I couldn't have done it without you.
